How many patients can be added for each caregiver account?

A caregiver can create an account for one (1) patient (or person they are caring for) at a time.

How many caregivers can be added for each patient account?

A patient can add as many caregivers or contacts as they like, however they can only designate one (1) as a primary caregiver.

Where do the communication alerts from the patient get sent?

The primary caregiver is notified of the alerts within the app from the caregiver task list view.

Do you collect or share my information?

SimpliHere does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy.

How do I add contacts to the app?

At the bottom of the home screen, select the Contacts icon, which will allow you or a caregiver to add contacts.

Can my family members or friends access my account?

Each of your family members and friends creates their own account to participate in direct messaging and group chat.

On the Communicate menu, what if the patient doesn’t see their Needs, Wants, or Emotions?

Each of these sections has a Custom button you can select so that you can add in your own entry. Your primary caregiver will receive the exact information you enter.

Does this app fall under the category of a medical device?

Your use of this App and the Services does not create in any way a physician-patient relationship, any sort of confidential, fiduciary, or professional or other special relationship that would give rise to any duties on our part. Your ability to access valuable resources or other services through use of the App does not establish SimpliHere as a healthcare provider or other Covered Entity or Business Associate, as such terms are defined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Consult with your healthcare provider if you need any medical advice or care. Please refer to our Terms of Use.

Is SimpliHere available for both iOS and Android?

The current version of the app is only available for iOS; however, our plan is to make it available for Android and will communicate the timing for when it will be available.

Does the app integrate directly into an organization’s Electronic Records System?

The app is not yet configured to integrate directly into these systems, but we can explore this option based on customer need.

Can an assisted living facility, home healthcare agency, or other caregiving organizations license SimpliHere for their entire staff and organization to use?

Please contact us directly to discuss pricing and structure for an organizational license.

Can I create an account through a browser?

Not at this time, but we will plan to roll out this capability based on customer need.
