SimpliHere, Inc (“SimpliHere,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of information you provide us when visiting our website or using our mobile application (“App”) to facilitate communication between care recipients (“Care Recipients”) and caregivers (“Caregivers”) (each, a “User”) to manage caregiving needs.

This Privacy Notice(the “Notice”) describes the personal information we collect and how we use and protect that information.

For the purpose of this Privacy Notice, “personal information” means information that may identify you as an individual.

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect personal information directly from you if you interact with our website or App. We may also collect information from third parties as described below.

Information You Provide

If you provide personal information on our website in order to obtain information or support, we may collect your name and email address, and any other information you provide.

If you use our App, whether as a Care Recipient or a Caregiver, you will be participating in a personal, private communication channel within the App on behalf of yourself and/or one or more persons within a care circle (“Care Circle”). We receive and store any personal information you provide. This information may include: name, email address, login information, password, and any other information you or members of your Care Circle upload or communicate through the App, including sensitive personal information relating to the Care Recipient’s needs; actions taken; and updates that may be shared among and be available to Care Circle members. Once a Care Circle is established, every member of that Care Circle is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the information shared in accordance with the Care Recipient’s and Users’ wishes.

Sensitive Personal Information including Health Information

Sensitive personal information is a subset of personal information which may, depending on applicable law, include information regarding: race, ethnic origin, citizenship, immigration status, or beliefs; physical or mental health condition, disease, diagnosis, interventions and, medications; payment for healthcare; sexual orientation or status; reproduction; genetic and biometric data; precise geolocation information; or other information that may be considered personal and/or sensitive. SimpliHere does not require disclosure or sharing of sensitive information. If you choose to share sensitive information either through our website or through the App you do so at your own risk and consent to our collection of such information.

Financial Information

When you purchase a subscription, all payments are processed through a third party processor. We do not collect your credit card, banking or other financial information.

Device and Location Information

When you visit our website or use our App, we may collect your IP address, operating system, choice of browser, device type, and language settings. If you permit the App to access location services through your mobile operating system, we may also collect the precise location of your device when the App is running in the foreground or background.

Cookies and other Technologies

When you interact with our website or use our App, we receive and store information automatically through use of “cookies” and other similar technology. We may also collect and store server logs, including but not limited to, device IP address, access dates and times, features used, other system activity, technical information about your device (e.g. browser type, operating system and basic device information), query activities, and third-party websites or services you were using before interacting with our website or using our App. You may disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. However, if you do so, this choice may affect your experience on our website and our App may not recognize you as a registered User.

Communications

If your device supports such capabilities, we may, with your consent, send e-mails to your e-mail address for authentication and security purposes. In addition, we may receive confirmation when you open any e-mail or other communication we send you. You can disable these functions at any time. However, by doing so, the App may not recognize you as a registered user which may affect your experience. In addition, if you do not want to receive e-mail or other communication from us, please adjust your email preferences or unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our e-mails or email us your request to be removed from communications at admin@simplihere.com.

Analytics

We may also receive information about you from other sources, including third-party website analytic tools including Google Analytics. These tools provide information about visitor traffic; log file information generated when you access or use our website and App, and other metadata, and, in some instances, geolocation information. We may combine that data with information we have collected. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

SimpliHere may use personal information that we collect for the following purposes:

To personalize and improve your experience on our website and App and to deliver the type of content and new offerings that may be of interest to you.

  • To contact you to respond to your requests or provide you with information that might be of interest, including information about products and services.
  • For analytical purposes and to research, develop and improve products, services and content.
  • To troubleshoot problems about the website and App.
  • For testing, research, analysis and product development related to our website and app, which may include identifying usage trends and determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns.

SimpliHere does not sell or rent your personal information.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no system or online transmission of data is completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of personal information transmitted online. We encourage you to take reasonable precautions to safeguard your personal information which may include accessing the website within a secure environment.

Our website and App may contain links to websites that are owned or operated by others. Although every effort is made to ensure that links to third party websites are to reputable sources, SimpliHere does not control or have responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of third-party sites or services. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our website does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage and instruct children to never provide personal information without permission.

Individuals under the age of 18 must have parental or legal guardian approval to download the App and children under the age of 13 may only engage with the App as part of a Family Sharing group. In addition, parents or other legal guardians are required to manage the use of our App by children under the age of 13.
